In support of the March For Our Lives, P’nai Or of Portland will be praying with our feet on Saturday morning, March 24. P’nai Or will hold a special Shabbat Shacharit morning service at 9:00 a.m. in the First Congregational Church, 1126 SW Park Ave, right on the park blocks. Our own high school students will lead much of the morning davening. We will conclude by 10 AM, after which we will continue praying with our feet by joining the March For Our Lives forming in the North Park Blocks. All are welcome.
On March 24, 2018, students will rally in Washington D.C and in local communities across the country to demand action from our leaders. In Portland, we will march out of the North Park Blocks at 10:30 a.m. and end up at Pioneer Courthouse Square at noon. We are asking that everyone take light-rail into downtown to the City Hall/SW 5th & Jefferson MAX Station. That's the easiest way to get in and out of the area!
The rock band Portugal. The Man will be performing at the rally. Portugal. The Man just won a Grammy in the "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance" for their recording of "Feel It Still." https://www.youtube.com/
